Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!!!

Greetings to you, my name is Ms. Rivera. I am the Primary Promise teacher. This is my 2nd year teaching at Lillian Street Elementary, and have more than 20 years experience in LAUSD.  As the Primary Promise teacher I work with students in a Tier 2 capacity providing intervention in Language Arts to K-3 students.

A little bit about me: I earned my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from CSULB, my multiple subject teaching credential from CSULB, my Master's degree from Concordia University in Educational Administration, and my Administrative credential from Concordia University.  I am a product of LAUSD and am proud to serve in my community.  My passion has always been to work with children and to be an advocate for them.  I believe that all children can learn.  When I am not working; I love to read, clean and organize, hang out with my friends, travel, listen to music, and learn.  I will forever be a student. 

To my students and families: I look forward to this new school year and being able to take part in your child's learning experience. I hope together we can try our best to help the students learn, grow, and have fun at school.
